Get to know Ricardo's story! A leap of faith with Misstudy.

Ricardo grew up in Medellin, Colombia. Like any young dreamer and adventurer, he aspired to great things. One of his dreams was to study and live abroad.

Realizing that the economy in his country was not the best, and to be hired by a good company he needed a degree and experience, he decided he had to fly with his own wings and explore the world.

Eager to meet new cultures, different people, and live the adventure of his life, Ricardo decided on a place very different from Colombia: Canada.

During his first sessions, he told us about his fears, doubts, and insecurities: "Will I do well? Will I understand the classes? Will I endure the winter? Will I adapt to a different culture?"

Throughout the entire process, he received our support and found the confidence he needed to overcome all his fears and insecurities.

"Yasi gave me a lot of information and advice, and explained how I would gradually adapt, guiding me and encouraging me that I could do it."

So, with our advice, he embarked on the adventure and started his studies in Science and Microbiology at the University of Manitoba.

His adaptation to his new life was spontaneous and he quickly began to tell us his anecdotes:

"Just arrived, I had a curious experience: I was walking on campus, I was very cold. Suddenly, a young man approached me to ask if I was new, and when I said yes, he advised me on what I had to do at the university and, what was fundamental to my adaptation: he showed me where I could get warmer clothes to feel more comfortable with the weather..."

For him, this interaction meant an unforgettable experience, it showed him that although he was far from his family and friends in this new stage, he would find people along the way who would accompany and help him.

"Now I feel very happy to be here, I love the city of Winnipeg, its people, its landscapes, and its university environment, everything is very inspiring. There is also incredible security, I can go everywhere without any fear. Every day I find a new reason to want to stay in Canada."

These success stories are the engine that gives life to Misstudy, fulfilling our students' dreams and helping them achieve them is our main motivation.

"I thank Misstudy, and my parents, who supported my dreams from the beginning and continue to accompany me on this great adventure."

Just like Ricardo, you can take a leap of faith and dare to start a new life, fly with your own wings and explore the world.

We will be by your side throughout the entire process!
