“I’m scared of making the wrong decision

That's what I thought when I was 17. I had to make a decision about what and where to study, a decision that would naturally scare and make any teenager feel full of doubts, because who wouldn't feel that way about a decision that could be their life for the rest of their years and part of their future?

“No university will accept me.” I kept repeating this to myself over and over again. I thought I would never finish the lengthy process of filling out admission forms, writing my essays, and getting interviewed by college admissions officers.

In the end, all my hard work
paid off

I was excited to open the acceptance letters from the London School of Economics, King’s College, McGill University, Georgetown, and Columbia University. Although, I decided to stay in New York, which, at the time, offered me the best future prospects.

“Traveling enabled my learning experiences.” After graduating from Columbia University with a double undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master's degree in International Relations, I worked for an NGO and the AIG insurer. However, I quickly realized that this was not what I wanted. After falling in love with an Italian, I went to live in Milan, a dream I had always had.

“I feel lost and scared
about my future”

Years later, working at the Politecnico di Milano University, I realized that each of the candidates I had reviewed was as lost and scared as I was when I was applying to the university. This sparked a passion for what would later become my life's work.

‘Work hard and enjoy the journey.’
I have been working with universities and colleges internationally for 13 years. I have worked with candidates of all ages and nationalities and I am very proud to have drawn the attention of the media and to have been interviewed on television, radio, and in the press.
