We are seeking a personable, knowledgeable, and persuasive University Advising & Orientation Consultant to join our team. This role blends college counseling with consultative sales: you’ll be responsible for meeting with prospective students and families, explaining our educational services, and guiding them through our orientation and application support programs.

You will help students explore academic and professional paths, while also identifying which of our service packages fits their goals. Through structured conversations, your mission is to inspire confidence, present clear guidance, and ultimately convert prospects into engaged clients.

Key Responsibilities:

🎓 Present Orientation Services

Lead introductory sessions with families to present our three-tier orientation offerings (Silver, Gold, Diamond).

  • Explain the scope of each package, including:

    • Personalized program lists (up to 10 options)

    • Admission requirements and deadlines

    • Living and program costs

    • Scholarship opportunities (Gold)

    • Career and job outlook evaluations (Diamond)

  • Guide families in selecting the right service based on the student’s academic profile, interests, and long-term goals.

  • Ensure students feel motivated, aligned, and enthusiastic about the process ahead.

📞 Conduct Sales & Discovery Calls

Engage in warm, value-based conversations with prospective clients to understand their needs.

  • Clearly communicate the value of the orientation and application services.

  • Answer questions, handle objections, and walk families through next steps, including payment and onboarding.

  • Maintain detailed notes and track engagement.

  • Guide students in creating an application plan, including timelines and strategy.

  • Assist with: final decision sessions to evaluate university offers

  • Collaborate with internal advisors if needed for additional support.

✍️ Support Application Process (as applicable)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong background in education, college counseling, or youth mentoring

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (spoken and written)

  • Comfortable “selling with empathy”: able to connect with families while guiding them toward the best solution

  • Highly organized, reliable, and proactive

  • Experienced with virtual communication tools (Google Meet, Zoom)

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred, especially for Latin American families

  • Knowledge of international university systems (U.S., Canada, Europe, etc.) is a plus
