IESE Business School is the graduate business school of the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain). IESE offers Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA and Executive Education programs that have often ranked among the top 10 in the world. IESE has campuses in Barcelona, Madrid, and New York City and teaching facilities in Munich and Sao Paulo. IESE is an initiative of Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church.

IESE came into prominence in 1964 by launching the first two-year MBA program in Europe under the guidance of the Harvard Business School. The Harvard-IESE Joint Advisory Committee was established in 1963 and continues to meet annually concerning matters of mutual interest. In 2007, IESE began offering academic programs in the United States with the opening of the Institute for Media and Entertainment (IME) in New York City. With the opening of its New York Center building in midtown Manhattan in April 2010, IESE became the first European business school to establish permanent operations in the U.S.

Several scholarships are available to incoming IESE students.

IESE Trust Scholarships

The IESE Trust awards 20 to 30 scholarships to students with outstanding academic records, excellent professional experience and personal merit. The scholarships can cover from 10% to 40% of the Tuition Fee. Please note that living expenses are not covered by any of the scholarships. The Trust Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.

The MBA Admissions Scholarship

The MBA Admissions Department grants a scholarship to outstanding candidates with verifiable financial constraints.

Forté Fellowships

Forté Fellowships are open to all female applicants. Candidates should exhibit exemplary leadership through academic, team, community and creative leadership. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to women and represent diverse educational and work backgrounds, career goals, ethnicities and citizenship. The max. amount of the scholarship is one year´s tuition fees.

Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries

The MBA program welcomes professionals from developing economies. These scholarships support outstanding candidates who live and work in a developing country.

Scholarships for Women

IESE is committed to increasing the number of women leaders in business. These scholarships support women with a track record of outstanding professional accomplishment.

Scholarship for Students with Children

IESE welcomes students with families and grants scholarships for students who, in the opinion of the Scholarship Committee, deserve financial aid.

IESE Alumni Association Scholarships

The IESE Alumni Association awards five scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition fees for the first and second year of the MBA program. These scholarships are for future MBA students who have demonstrated exceptional work experience and personal merit.



When it comes to applying, there are four deadlines to choose from. We recommend sending your application prior to the deadline. That way you avoid the rush and get ahead with the process.

So the sooner you apply, the better. Applying early will give you more chances to earn a scholarship as well.
